Easy to install. Reasonably priced. Noticed a slight decrease in cigarette smoke odor (moved into an apartment where previous tenant was a smoker), but time will tell - trying to get air ducts cleaned next! I have a ton of allergies, and after installing this filter my eyes and nose aren't so itchy. Again, over time will tell!

May damage your furnace

I bought this in order to filter out micro plastics. Three weeks later my igniter and my control board failed on my furnace. In ordering a new furnace they mentioned that it should have high flow air filters. I asked if this filter would be okay and they said definitely not. Because it restricts airflow it will cause damage to virtually all components of the furnace. Whether this was the reason why my furnace failed — it was 35 years old — I will never know.
