Ball is great. Walmarts shipping dept isn't.
Ball Mason jars are as reliable as they were when your grandma was using them... May not be smart to have them shipped like I did as Walmart packed them with virtually no packing material so what I received was a box with 2 broken Mason jars that had scattered broken glass over the entire contents of the box. Order 4 packs containing 12 quart jars in each pack.

This is the perfect jar that I need for a craft project. Only received 11 instead of 12 because 1 arrived broken. It was also apparent that it happened before it was shipped and not by the delivery person. The box was in perfect condition and when opened it was sufficiently wrapped for protection. Not nice

When I first went to buy these, there were NO quart canning jars in stock for Walmart at my local stores or online. But I was able to say I wanted to be notified and two days later I got the email. With Covid, these have been hard to find sometimes. We use them for our maple syrup operation for our syrup for the household and most of our friends and family prefer the canning jars to syrup tins. Also, the smooth sides are great for being able to add labels.
