Great faucet!

We needed to replace an 8 year-old Moen faucet. My husband was able to install this himself. However, he is in the construction business so I think it may have been a little easier for him. So far so good! I love the ease of turning on the faucet and the pull down/spray feature! I hope this one will last as long as our previous Moen, if not longer. We will make sure we keep the receipt this time!

Beautiful and easy

We purchased the Moen Indi faucet to replace an old, old kitchen faucet that had reached the end of its usefulness. The hardest part of the whole job was removing the old faucet. The new Moen faucet installed easily and looks gorgeous. It's a clean and handsome design and the satin stainless, spot-resist finish gets high marks. The high arch keeps the faucet out of the way of in-sink activities, the pull-out works smoothly with excellent flow. All functions work flawlessly. For installation, recommend using a dry Teflon lubricant on the faucet support threads to make the nut easier to turn with the plastic tool provided.

best so far

my old faucet (a Delta) finally gave up the ghost. as with many such products, it was never designed to be repaired, just thrown away. I was stuck with a four hole installation, and the Moen offered the best looking design so, given the lifetime warranty, I threw down the extra cash and put it in this week- end. took away one star because the soap dispenser took longer to thread than the rest of the unit took to install - finally I found and trimmed off the little burr, and it went on OK. Also, the base ought to be a quarter to a half inch bigger in length and an eighth in width: it just barely covered the holes. the instructions made no mention of Teflon tape. there may well be some 'coolguy' stuff in the fittings provided, but I think anyone who leaves this step out deserves what they get. Moen would do well to throw in a few feet of the stuff, and some plumbers' putty would be nice, too.
