Coleman Classic Recharge LED Lantern - 800 Lumens - Black

Great product! When I needed a light to use in my chicken coop, I looked online at all sorts of variations that had very mixed reviews. Then I thought back to my childhood and thought-surely Coleman has the technology to have a rechargeable lantern. I looked at their site, found the perfect solution, then found it $20.00 cheaper at Walmart. Love it!

We liked it so much when it came in, we ordered a 2nd one. You can find cheaper lanterns, but with less lumens. There's lanterns with higher lumens but I don't think the higher price would make it worthwhile. The charging cable stores in the bottom of the lantern. That is a big plus. It should be bright enough for us. we dry camp, it can be very dark. We use very bright lumen flashlights for walking our dogs. The brightest is 2000 lumens so we can be assured that there's no wildlife stalking our camp or us on walks at night but it's important our camp is well lit keeping us safe too. with the bright flashlights we can get quite a distance from camp. The lanters will get us back to our camp. Quartzsite camping can be tricky, so many lights. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to use these lantern to help us find my way back to our RV. We used to use propane lanterns. I doubt we will now. The propane has to be set up each time, and lit. Then it runs out of propane at inopportune times. These being rechargeable will be better. We don't have to worry about bringing a hot lantern inside or running out of propane in the middle of nowhere. No propane bottles to carry around is great too. We've had battery lanterns in the past. so I know we'll be happy with these. They're brighter. And we enjoy the convenience of rechargeable lanterns. Having to recharge our batteries in the past, this is going to be a breeze. we'll just make sure by scheduling our usage, that both don't go out at the same time. I really don't see anything bad about it unless you don't have the ability to recharge while you're camping. We're set and able to recharge all the new electronics in our RV. Obviously longevity hasn't been tested but we're at the beginning of the camping season and I figured better to review it now. If the future brings me problems I'm likely to edit the review. But It's a Coleman, so I don't see problems. Incase time matters to you...This was the first item that came in my order. They put other sellers to shame. Even today, some of my items are 10 days from delivery. I got this the next day after I ordered it. It seemed to be placed with care next to my mailbox. Obviously I recommend it and recommend this seller too. I've had things delivered that looked like it was thrown from the truck over my fence. So definitely use this seller.
