DOLZ really likes Feit Electric Smart LED 9 Watts (60W Eq.) Color Changing/Tunable White Light Bulb, A19, E26, Dim (3 Pack). Very versatile lightbulbs, can be tuned to be a normal lightbulb or any, and I mean literally any color. Well-made, are UL listed so they meet safety standards, are cool enough for enclosed spaces and safe for damp locations. These bulbs are only 9 watts, equivalent to 60 watt bulbs that put out 800 lumens, so not great if you need a brightly lit area. Software is mildly buggy but that doesn't affect the overall usability. What's really cool is that the software has a timer and a program to music feature. That would be great for holidays. There are many effects but most of them wouldn't be used on a day-to-day basis. There hasn't been enough time to explore all the effects but there is certainly something for everyone's taste. The good news is If you switch off from light switch, it remembers all the settings.These bulbs are compatible with Alexa and Google devices but we did not test for that. Box says to not use with dimmer-switched lighting. We got it to work but whenever we tried to change the 'temperature' the light flickered like crazy. They are dimmable through the software, though. Overall a very fun, very functional product that we can't wait to explore further and figure out how many different festive ways we can use them. RECOMMENDATION: Absolutely recommended. Can't think of a funner way to decorate for holidays or just to reflect a mood.
