Not as good as teflon
I wanted a cooking surface larger than a standard 12 inch teflon coated pan but this is inferior, cast iron not conducting heat the way aluminum does, hot in center and the coarse textured cooking surface causes sticking. Pancakes will be raw out near the ends of the griddle while their other side near the center heat source will get scorched. Obsolete design unless you are living in a log cabin.
