Decent price and looks good

I am quite surprised! I bought an Onn Tv a few months ago and was very please with it, so when my PC monitor fried I looked at what Walmart offered in the Onn brand. I got the 24" version, and I was/am surprised at the out of box image. Colors look good, brightness / contrast nice, and a FULL menu of controls that will allow this thing to be calibrated for Photo processing, although I do that on my my 32" ViewSonic. One thing that was a requirement for me was to be able to swivel the screen to a vertical orientation, this will do that, but only in one direction. It would be nice if it could rotate either direction. Assembly was simple and straight forward. Here is the only thing I do not like about this monitor- as well as a lot of other modern electronics. The power indicator lamp is blue, which is fine, BUT when the monitor is put to "sleep", it is not only lit, but flashing. This is annoying as my PC is in a bedroom and for one , its distracting if watching television, and two when you wake up in the middle of the night to flashing lights everywhere, it looks like you're about to be abducted by UFO's . I do not know what makes this a "gaming" monitor, and I don't really care, it works and looks good-that's all that matters to me. Now I need to find my black tape to cover the landing lights "rolling eyes" We'll see how long it lasts, but so far I like it and would recommend.

Nice beginners monitor. My son got it for Christmas for his Xbox One S. The button is easy to navigate. Once you connect it to a device with the HDMI cord, your monitor will give you more setting options. It's really easy to assemble. Just pop the monitor onto the stand, make sure you push up the thingy on tue bottom so it will click into the monitor. My only complaint is that they out the top left sticker on the actual screen. I had to use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to get it ball off. It was suppose to be on tue wrap they put around the edge of tue screen.
