Better and better

This is my 2nd GE disposal. The last one lasted 17 years. The new one is an upgrade, and it is quieter and more effective than the last disposal.

product is quiet and powerful

bought this disposal, price was very good compared to other with similar features. easy to install only took me about 20-25 minutes to install. turned it on and tried it, it is quiet compared to the one I had that was only 1/3 HP. this one at 1/2HP . I am very pleased with this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Works Great

We replaced a previous GE disposal (which was still working) with this larger/heavier duty one when we replaced our kitchen countertop and sink. It does an excellent job grinding waste in very short period of time. FYI - We don't put a lot through the disposal. It was a fairly easy install but we had to do some reconfiguration of water pipes since it was larger than our previous one.
