Well made and good value
I've been shopping for the right counter stools for our remodeled kitchen for over a year. Bar/counter stools are VERY expensive in furniture stores and nice catalogs. I didn't want to spend $1000 for two counter stools. I found these by accident and decided to give them a shot knowing that I could return them to Sam's if I wasn't satisfied. We are very pleased the quality and style for the price. The seat is a faux leather I guess. I wasn't sure what material the seat was because it wasn't in the description. I wanted something that was easy to wipe clean since children will sit in them. Glad that it's not fabric.

Very happy with this purchase!
These stools are perfect. Assembly was a bit trying for my very capable husband, but after the first one, the other two were better. The provided instructions need improvement, because they are poorly written. With that said, I love the stools!
