Everything I expected

Love this oven! This is my second double oven. I hesitated buying this style again after my first experience with this type was a nightmare. My previous oven was a complete lemon. (Frigidere brand) This LG is oven is perfect! Very pleased!

Really Nice!

I did a lot of research before purchasing this oven and I am feeling really good about the decision. I have baked and roasted using both the convection feature and without it. I have broiled, made cakes, I have run the steam clean option and the regular oven clean mode with no problems at all. I really liked that this oven had both cleaning options as I was not going to buy an oven that didn't. I would say it's important to read your manual, there are some things you shouldn't do, like put foil on the racks or oven floor. Don't leave the oven door opened when you broil. They are pretty clear in the manual when they tell you not to do this. I have had none of the issues others mentioned regarding the knobs moving when you lean on the stovetop. I really can't see how you would lean on them anyway. This is a really nice oven. The only thing I would have liked is if there were more space (height) at the back of the stove top between the bottom edge of the back panel and the grates as my pans don't slide under the panel as they did on my other oven providing more cooking room. Other than that I am very happy with my purchase. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Awesome addition to any home

I bought this last year and finally had it installed this month when our kitchen remodel was almost complete. My husband and I own a private chef company and we wanted something gas with double ovens. So far, I have cooked for a party of ten with two main dishes, dessert and 3 sides with no problems. I have baked two loaves of banana bread with no problems on convection settings and I also cooked brownies on the regular bake setting in the bottom oven. All with no temperature problems. The burners are excellent and heat efficiently and quickly. The smaller burners in the back are designed to be less powerful for a reason so if you're trying to boil a pot of water, you should place the pot on the one of the front two burners-problem solved. I only have a vent hood over this range-microwaves are not safe at such a height. But I did lean on the knobs and twist and turn just to see if gas leaked - I had the gas tech who did the install double check and found no gas emitting from the stove. I have yet to bake a cake, that will be this weekend. And if there are any problems I will report them. I would attribute the negative complaints for this model to be human error in leaving a review for the wrong model number- this is specifically for model number LDG4315ST. I would also attribute the food turning out poorly to human error. We watch people cook all the time, they often do not practice proper and safe preparation techniques nor cooking techniques, thus their food turns out under cooked or burned. And that's perfectly fine,.some people just struggle with cooking, but to blame this range is a stretch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
