It's formulated with fully synthetic base oils plus advanced additives to protect against wear, deposits, and oil breakdown. It also provides better low-temperature flow and enhanced fuel economy performance of 1.5% (compared to 15W-40 oils). Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 is suitable for new and older diesel-powered vehicles from Class 8 tractor/trailers to heavy-duty diesel pickups, delivery, utility, school bus fleets, and motorcycles. t This oil stays clear and clean in my 2012 Ram 2500 6.7l diesel longer than most other brands. My Ram has over 300k miles and still runs great. I change my oil every 5-6k miles along with the fuel filter and could surely could go longer between changes based on the way the oil looks.

Great oil for turbo gasoline cars as well!
Rotella T6 may be listed as diesel oil, however, it is good stuff and runs great in turbo Subaru applications. I have used it for years in WRXs and STis. Always looks pretty good after 3.5k of spirited driving.
