Feet will stay nice and dry in the men's AMP LT Edge safety boot by Georgia Boot.Built with a Goodyear welt construction, this 6-inch lace up work boot features a chemical and abrasion resistant full-grain SPR leather upper and a defined heel. The Ergo-Fit alloy toe cap is designed to give your toes a better range of motion while maintaining the ASTM F2413 impact and compression standards for safety toe footwear.This men’s work boot is equipped with a waterproof lining covered by a soft mesh. The Counter Lock system prevents heel slippage and a 3-D molded counter pocket locks your heel into place, providing padded support. The AMP LT removable memory foam insole creates a customized fit for all day comfort.The foundation of this comfortable work boot is designed with multiple layers for ultimate durability. A woven welt rib allows for resoling and offers excellent lateral stability. The EVA midsole provides responsive cushioning and a fiberglass shank gives stability and arch support. A compression molded EVA midsole absorbs the shock of each step to guard against foot fatigue. The Carbo-Tec Rubber outsole resists oil, heat, abrasion and chemicals and also will keep you on your feet with a slip-resisting tread. Comfortable out of the box
These boots are comfortable. They had nearly no break in needed. They are very comfortable (maybe a tad less than a wedge sole but that's a given for a heeled sole boot). They appear to be fairly well resistant to scuffing. The heel lock seems to work well once it breaks in. The insoles seem a little less durable than the quality of the boot but honestly I typically change those anyhow with boots over time. I have had many notable brand boots and these rank up there in quality and comfort for sure. The only downfall is they can be a hit hot in the warm temps. They don't breathe as well as I was hoping. Otherwise love the style, looks and quality. I will be curious how the heels of the soles hold up since that is where I tend to see them wear out
