Kingsford Charcoal Briquettes with Applewood, BBQ Charcoal for Grilling, 16 Pounds

Wow, what a treat! This applewood charcoal was dynamite and I can't wait to try other flavors. The Applewood Charcoal lit very easily, my husband is a grill master but I have to be honest and sometimes I struggle to really get the coals lit or maintain thieir temperature. Not this time though! The charcoal was a breeze to cook with, long lasting and a great barbecuing experience! I was surprised at how much the flavor really made a difference. When the bag arrived we fired up the barbeque and made a pork loin and on subsequent nights we made a tritip and barbecue chicken. So pork and apples is a match made in heaven so I wasn't surprised the pork loin turned out amazing but I was surprised to detect a difference in both the tritip and chicken. I thought maybe a sweet or floral note would carry over but instead it imparted this beautiful smoky earthy taste that enhanced all the meat we made. After trying Kingsford's Original Charcoal Briquets with Applewood, I can honestly say this is a premium product. I always use a charcoal chimney for charcoal grilling, and it seems to light well. The charcoal grilled hot and even. I grilled pork loin on my Weber grill using the briquets, and the flavor was delicious. The smell from the grill made me salivate just getting things ready. I love that I am able to add a spin on the flavor of my food using a different kind of charcoal. I feel like the added smell and flavor make this product unique and different from other charcoal. While I received this product at a discounted rate in order to gain my honest opinion, I know I will be purchasing this again. Way to go, Kingsford!
