Moen Brantford Towel Rack

Matches my other Moen fixtures beautifully. Was easy to install. Only had one issue getting the second end to lock properly. The mount is plastic and there seemed to be an issue with the plastic lock springing and catching. I would definitely recommend this product.

Weak mount and cheap

This product was installed by the new builder company for our new house. When we went to paint the bathrooms, everyone of the plastic mounting brackets broke at the removal tab, which made the whole unit worthless at that point. It couldn't be remounted without the tab still being there. One of them partially made it through the removal, but broke off on reinstall. Before we took them off, the bars were becoming loose from normal use. I found that this versions appears to be designed for a quick install for builders that need to get through the finishing work in the build. Good for them...worthless for us. Don't buy it for a home improvement option. I have have to replace every one of these mounts with the tradition mount version. This has become costly because the replacements are not cheap (as in cost)! Disappointed with Moen for making such a cheap product!

The Moen Brantford Chrome 18" Towel Bar uses the Moen pro-fit system. To remove your end post you will need to get a small screwdriver to go straight up in the opening, and then push the screwdriver towards the wall. At the same time you are pushing the screwdriver towards the wall, with your free hand you will give the post a tug. I have sent you an email to further assist with your current issue.
