Twist lock

I haven't got the first hose end put together yet. I used different types of lube and mounted the fittings on a socket attached to an old half inch extension in a huge vice but I didn't have enough strength to get the hose fully on. It came with no instructions. I watched the videos. I had to call Russell for help and the guy said to try putting the hose in hot water first-then lube and this should help. I haven't tring it yet.
