I have had one of these for several years, this one was for my husband. I like that it is compact, easily fits in a pocket. I keep it in my purse. Battery does not drain if left for a couple of weeks, recharges quickly. The only thing I don't like is that it ignores playlists and folders. I had to remove Christmas music that I didn't want to hear on summer vacation.

This newer version doesn't have video, but I do like the new controls, but use to the old one. The newer versions performance is better and battery life is 20% better. It has a nice sleek design and easy to use and store. I would suggest getting an ac charger so you don't need a computer for charging. I would suggest this to anyone needing a great MP3 player.
