Nice sturdy product, but could provide better mounting
The mounts are well built, fit both the lights and the truck's factory mounts very well. The issue really stems from the factory mounting location/material. It is molded plastic with simple pop in place tabs. So here you have a great heavy duty steel mount to hold the light, all very sturdy, then you mount it to a plastic plate. Kind of like buying great wheels and tires for your truck and mounting them to wooden axles. For the effort that went into designing these mounts and the price you pay, they should bridge the gap around the plastic and brace to the bumper itself. It wouldn't really take much more material and it would solve the "security" issue these plastic plates have as well. Other than that, they look great, the slanted filler piece looks great. Overall made the installation pretty simple and quick. (The lights work great too.)
