Overall good product.
The installation was not smooth. I had to reset the device three times before I was able to successfully connect the extender to my router. Now once I did, everything worked fine. I'm not necessarily giving this product a bad review… I'm just saying that the install was a little stressful.

Works great. This is my third NetGear. I love it.
I really disliked the support I got for helping me set up my NetGear. I got charged $69.00, they wanted $299.00. He disabled a bunch of stuff that I had to tell him to put back. The whole thing took about an hour, and raising my temper to almost screaming. I love the product, after all was said and done, I am very satisfied with my NetGear. I live in an apt. building and the router box is in the main office, a fair distance from where my apt. is.

Great Coverage Easy Setup
I use this unit as an access point. I like to know which unit I'm connected to, either this unit, or my router. I set up using my computer. Setup was quick and easy. After setup I tried to use the app, but after multiple attempts, the app couldn't find the extender. My phone was on the extender, yet it couldn't find it. I feel if I had setup using the app to start with, this would not be an issue. But the instructions hinted that if I was setting up as an access point, to use a computer. It really is not an issue, as I have not changed any settings since initial setup. This thing broadcasts all the way across the street in my neighbors house. I was setting up their new TV to Wi-Fi, and the TV found this unit and my router. So my whole 1450 square foot home has great coverage. I highly recommend this unit.
