got tired of paying monthly Internet gateway charges .. ordered this unit really easy to setup .. just call your Internet provider give them the MAC address and they pretty much take care of things .. no problem signing on with your new ID and password ….again cake so far … we'll see how long the new road lasts ))

Decades later, yes, I bought a Arris again

I can feel the difference in internet performance! I have owned my own modem rather than rent for decades. Upgraded from a sunset ISP modem to this model. No regrets. Unfortunately but not modems/ Wi-Fi company fault had to rely on 24 hrs of bad customer service with Xfinity. Lesson learned give them the HFC MAC address not the other that they asked for. Installation smooth afterwards. Web manager easy to move around in too! 2nd Arris modem I have owned!
