If you have never used a rechargeable and only know electric you will be disappointed. But if you understand the limitation then you will be delighted. I realize I can't cut forever and not trying to cut down thick branches though it surprised me that it did a pretty neat job on stronger yew branches. For me, the convenience is unbeatable and I have 2 one for me and one for hubby.
