Energizer Stranger Things Demogorgon Hunting LED Flashlight, Limited Edition , 150 Lumen

Last month, some friends and I had a small Dead By Daylight photoshoot. One of them borrowed another friend's vintage flashlight to use as a prop. Worked out pretty well. Two days ago, I got a targeted ad for this flashlight. Like most of Netflix's user base, I watched the latest installment of Stranger Things, and hey, it's not perfect, but it's a fun time. This flashlight looks like the ones they have on the show, of course - which happen to be the same vintage one as my friend's. I figured "alright, fine, algorithm, you got me," and ordered it. Less than 48 hours later, it arrived. The thing is metal, even though some of the product photos look plastic. It comes with the 2 D batteries it needs, and is bright enough for pretty much any indoor use (and probably most medium-range outdoor ones, too). It doesn't project an image of the Demogorgon or anything like that - functionally, it's a regular flashlight. I think it's a little brighter than the old one it's based on, though I haven't been able to compare them. The body is exactly the same, aside from the custom Stranger Things features. The "secret compartment" is in the butt of the flashlight, and can maybe hold two silver dollar coins... or an SD card if you really want to feel like you're smuggling something important. Not a lot of room in there otherwise. There's a tiny little note in there that relates to Season 4 of the show. Meanwhile, the Hawkins National Laboratory logo etched on the side is a fun touch. The Morse code also etched on the head of the flashlight contains some punctuation, so be sure to find a translation guide that includes that. All in all, this is a neat product. I like it, and I'm glad I grabbed it. For the same price, you could definitely find a brighter flashlight. But, as far as Stranger Things memorabilia goes, this thing is handy and durable. I'm not big on Funkos or other merch that doesn't do anything besides collect dust, so this is right up my alley. Plus, now we won't have to borrow my friend's old flashlight for future photoshoots! Speaking of photoshoots, I grabbed my DSLR once it got dark out and took the attached product photo real quick. I may have overdone it a little bit with the depth of field, buuuut I'm not gonna work too hard on free advertising. You're welcome, Walmart.
