Excellent sink; sink grates a disappointment

We purchased this drop-in sink for its quality material and construction, the low divide feature, the charcoal colour and overall match with the plan for the kitchen renovation - and it has met all of our expectations. The two separately purchased matching stainless steel grates are a great disappointment, particularly given their price - the 8 perimeter rubber bumpers on each grate to protect the sink finish are forever coming off the grid - several have already unknowingly hit the waste bin! Design change needed.

Beautiful at first! Unfortunately, eventually it will lose it's luster and fade, with white spots/marks appearing. Was very careful to not use any chemicals. We have the Elkay bottom grid. I would not recommend this sink. Especially for the price.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. It is our priority to ensure customer satisfaction. To restore the color and shine of your quartz sink, first clean your sink. Then apply 1 to 2 teaspoons of mineral oil to a clean, dry cloth. Evenly distribute the oil in a thin layer and allow it to sit for about 2 minutes, and then wipe away any excess. We do have a articles available on our online Help Center for care and cleaning and removing stains from Quartz sinks, which I have included the link to below. Using a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution with the Mr. Clean® Magic Eraser® or a small amount of baking soda and water on a toothbrush can help remove tougher stains.
