First time using a gel product. The color is neutral but noticeable. It glides on smoothly and is not messy, like regular polish. I used several coats, like I would with regular polish, but this dries fairly quickly, so I didn't end up with a smudge or nick. I also used the clear coat gel setter. That, too, dried quickly and left a smooth finish. This has been on over a week with no wear-off, chips, or dings. I'm about to add another coat, just to freshen up. No need to start over. I love this stuff!
