It's essentially a malleable plastic that slips right over your case. It doesn't hold the best, but at the same time, it's not exactly loose either. It definitely feels cheaply made, and I'm honestly not too sure if I'd really trust the clip to hold or really have it in a rough environment to really keep your earbuds safe.
