I had to replace one. This one is so quiet I sometimes forget its on except I am way comfortable . The old one had to stay set on 70 for any level of comfort. This one at 76 for same result. I am in Georgia and I'm not saying its hot but two hobbits just threw a ring out in my yard. This jewel keeps half of my 1600 square foot house super cool all day with no issues at all. Love it. Buying a smaller one of the same brand for the back of the house today.

Just purchased my new airconditioner. We love it. It works excellent compared to the 3 airconditioners we originally had in the house. It cools our home fast and efficient. We have had well over 100 degree weather and inside we have stayed so cool we had to shut it off for awhile. I would definitely recommend this airconditioner.

Beware of buying from the website!

I bought this air conditioner for the living room window, but the measurements from the website don't include the space needed for the mounting brackets so it wouldn't fit. Since I bought it from the website, it had to be returned to the people selling it representing Walmart (Sylvane Inc.) and they have a different return policy than Walmart so the item cannot be returned to the store so you have to mail it back and pay for the shipping (I paid $55.00) I think that's horrible, if I knew this before I would have waited and had it delivered to the store instead of having it shipped to my house so I could bring it back without the charge.
