As far as memory is concerned, I think that Prevagen does help some, but I don't think that it reverses the memory problem. I have difficulty remembering names of people, places, street names, and other things. Since starting Prevagen, when a name or whatever comes up in a blank, I can remember it quicker now than before Prevagen which helps a lot. Unfortunately, the memory continues to fail more and more often, so Prevagen helps, buts it is not a cure for Alzheimer's or dementia.

I suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car wreck back when I was 22 and have been dealing with the mental effects since then, 1997. Years of cognitive therapy and exercise have gotten me to an acceptable level of self-sufficiency but I'm still not as mentally sharp as I was before the head injury. When I'm taking Prevagen, people around me say there's a noticeable difference in my memory and mental sharpness. My family members can tell when Zi'm not taking it so I try to keep some on hand.
