We are very pleased with the lamp. We replaced a similar style lamp and were glad to be able to find another one that serves our needs. It is both attractive and functional. The lamp is very well designed for ease of adjustment for just the right height. It would be helpful to have more detailed instructions.

Attractive Reading/ Task light

I hesitated to purchase an item that cannot be returned directly to Walmart, but there was no need. The lamp arrived in good packaging and assembled easily. I like that it has vertical adjustment because I use it for reading by a low chair in the den. I'm about to place a re-order to put by another cozy chair where I will likely read or do fiber arts work. It's bright enough for close work and can be turned aside for a more ambient light if you don't need the task lighting. The oiled bronze finish is dark, the quality and style are pleasing. Here's hoping I get two good ones in a row!
