The finish on these last forever.
I bought my first about 12 years ago and faces the south sun. I've since bought 2 more ( north and west doors ) So far the only problem I've had was the keypad on the oldest door that cracked and faded after about 11 years in full sun. Contacted Schlage and they sent me 3 button pads free of charge. These are easily replaced. The only drawback is I wish there was a parts list with numbers and a site where we could order these. Here is a photo of the old pad and a picture of the oldest Plymouth lock I have with new buttons. I just think these are great.

Really easy to install, and works great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this one after trying to install 2 other lower priced models. This was by far the easiest to install, it had a little hands free screw that locked the parts into place so you didn't have to hold it, while I installed it. Super helpful! Then, the wiring was really easy to connect, and it had little storage clips to secure the wiring in place so it wouldn't get pinched. Both of these things are really nice to have when DIY with no experience. Lock works great.

They just work, every single time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have installed 6 of this same model over past 7 years. Each performs today like it did on day 1. Sometimes I think about upgrading to something iPhone compatible but then decide not to - I am happy and our Airbnb guests say they feel safe and secure.
