Tube too long?

I have purchased Duro tubes before and they are great. However, the last one I purchased seemed to be too long. I managed to tuck it all into the tire, but was cautious when inflating. I partially inflated and then deflated several times before bringing the pressure up to the tire rating (116 psi). Seems to work fine inside the tire but I have not ridden on it yet.
