First and foremost, to me "organic beaniac blends are sourced in part from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms where coffee grows as it should - in harmony with nature". Creating sustainable/nature friendly techniques that work with nature and not against it. These are the world's first plant based, 100% compostable "coffee pod". I can literally take these out with my other organic materials and add them to my compost pile. It always bothered me that the brand I have used for many years was plastic. I do love my coffee; I was fully expecting to have to compromise the quality and flavor of the coffee in order to take advantage of the eco-friendly pod...NOT SO!! The coffee is great, I got the "Flavor Freak Madagascar Vanilla", it is fantastic. The aroma of the Vanilla when it is brewing is delightful, and the coffee is smooth and rich, very nicely done. I was impressed. The only drawback to this coffee is the TWO heavy plastic freshness pouches. I understand the reasoning, as the pod itself is made of biodegradable mesh and would do nothing to maintain freshness, however, it is a little disappointing a company who has spent so much time/money/research/energy and has made it their mission to be as eco-friendly as possible has 2 heavy plastic resealable bags for 30 coffee pods as part of their packaging. It kinda defeats the purpose a little bit? But overall, I really like this product and will be a regular customer.

I’m not much of a coffee drinker but on the weekends I’ll enjoy a light decaf for a little boost. These Flavor Freak Madagascar Vanilla pods are wonderful. The aroma that hits you when you open the bag is a wonderful scent. A light, crisp, fresh cup of goodness AND the pods are 100% compostable. A great eco friendly cup of goodness!
