I didn't think I would like a bed in a box, but this one surprised me. I have a bad back and this doesn't hurt my back like my other bed did. I would say it's medium firm. I sleep on my side mostly and it gives me the best sleep I've had in a while. I've actually dreamt the last few days I've had it and I haven't had a dream in so long! I feel like that's testimony in itself!
