I've had this frame set about a week . I personally love it .. it took more time to figure out the rest of the frame was in the actual head board than it did to set up .. installing the slates are a PITA .. they don't screw in you have to connect them together with plastic pieces . There is a few initial snaps and cracks when you first lay on it and spread out and do your thing but after that it's very quiet .. very sturdy .. faux leather is holding up against the kids
