I had bought this a year ago for my kids room. Got the 6" foam mattress again. it came if flat and vacuum sealed and rolled up small. The mattress starts to expand immediately. left it for 2 days and now fully expanded. Mattress is pretty firm - i would have liked it firmer but it was for the guest bedroom so good with it. Price was unbeatable. If I had to do it again would do the 8" of higher if for more regular use.
