Our teen's pleased with them (got her a pair of chairs so she can have a %23PlusOne when she suns). Seems like it only took her a minute to get the hang of opening them, positioning from sitting to laying flat, but preceeded with caution as she sat just to be sure she had the legs properly positioned. I think these are going to work well for teens, but I think they'd be too small/narrow for full-sized adults. And they're very low to the ground, so I think ya need to be young %26 spry to get up off these.
