simple, but no good way to put it together. sliding the plastic panels into the plastic dividers was difficult, but i am a little woman. if you get mad, this is doable with even tiny hands haha. need a drill to get the screws through the aluminum frame pieces. directions don't go over this. had to get different mounting screws for placing in wood on a house. the ones that came with were more for harder materials in my opinion. with these few steps, however, this turned out well worth the money. its the cheapest on the market for this size of awning and we had to have one due to rain and extreme sun on our front door. so far we've had gusts of up to 80mph in southern missouri lately and its held up! also shades well. would give 4/5 for the screws and the directions, but its so far a good investment.

This was better than I expected, it wasn't easy to put together by one person. But I did it and love how it looks. Not sure how long it will last but I am hoping to get a few years at least.
