This was just what I was looking for.l It dries so fast that you don't have to worry about mildew. This is the best liner I've ever had. I hope it holds up. Time will tell.

This works great as a shower curtain liner..(looks nice enough to be the only curtain. It has almost a seersucker like textured dimpling to it, but is very soft. I bought extra ones to use as curtains..so as to let light in, but not be able to see in from the outside day or night (when lights are on inside at night) they arent sheer enough to see outside either in daytime though..so if that is what u wanted..it wouldnt work in that situation, I used decorative shower hooks to hang them on a bronze tension rod and they do make the room a lot brighter. I can keep the heavier, darker curtains pulled back off to the sides and dont have to shut them every night.
