The Micro-Adjust Adjustable Centrifugal System allows you to dial in the exact amount of braking force required without removing the side cover; this allows for finer adjustments to be made quickly when conditions change. The multi-drag disk design perfectly combines carbon washers, for stopping power and good drag lockdown, with ceramic washers, for drag consistency and smoothness. The max drag is 18-pounds. The continuous anti-reverse clutch is made from precision stainless steel to withstand bone jarring hooksets without any backward spool movement. There is zero friction thanks to the pinion gear being held in place by two ball bearings, eliminating contact with the spool shaft during casting. Hot Sauce lubrication also helps to lower friction throughout the reel. The one-piece aluminum frame construction is sturdy enough for the most demanding anglers while still remaining lightweight. The bayonet side cover makes it easy to access the spool with just the press of a button. Several coatings protect the reel from the effects of saltwater.
