It works very well as a laundry detergent it gets everything so nice and clean it even can be used as a dish detergent too. Its very mild on my sensative skin and does what I need for it to do for pennies on the dollar. Give it a try if you like saving and are looking for a better alternative to the high price laundry detergents.

Love how it cleans and removes stains effortlessly during handwashing. A little goes a long way. There is waste as it dissolves quickly, releasing a lot of soap when rubbed against the clothes being washed. Maybe it could be made more sturdy and have a slower soap release. Overall, an excellent laundry soap that serves the purpose for which it was created — cleaning laundry quickly and safely. Thank you.

I love this soap. I do not use it for laundry, I bathe in it. I was told by my dermatologist years ago to bathe in lye soap (Octagon soap) and they stopped making it. While I searched for other lye soaps I tried this Zote and am very please with the result for my body (skin). I'm not suggesting it to other, but to try it can't hurt.
