The kitchen sink in my apartment has a built-in garbage disposal with a 4-`/2 inch drain opening. Even the factory-supplied drain stopper doesn't keep the dish water from draining before I could get the first plate washed. These 6 inch silicone stoppers create a tight seal around the drain and keep the water in the sink for hours, allowing for adequate soaking of pans with baked on grease. Just exactly what I was needing. The only con is that the tab to break the seal sticks up high enough that cookie sheets don't lie flat in the sink. It's a very minor con, however, because the tab sticks up only about a 1/4 inch. So just run a little bit more water in, and it works just as good as if the pans were completely flat. The 6 inch size of these stoppers is just right for the large drain of the disposal. I'm really glad I found these stoppers at Walmart. I'd definitely buy them again should I need to replace them.

They didn't come with instructions I thought it was over drain and sticks but, you place it over drain and run hot water on it. It seals then but, no tightly.
