So I've removed the frame and the bases for the mattress because my elderly rescue babies have leg injuries and can't jump on the bed. Once I moved the mattress to the floor and added the topper, I'd have all 5 of my rescue babies in the bed with me. They absolutely loved it. I, on the other hand, also liked but had issues getting out of bed. I'm 200 pounds, mainly muscle, so I shouldn't have had a hard time, but I did most likely because the mattress is on the floor. That would be my only complaint. My fur babies, on the other hand, have no complaints😆
