In terms of durability, Geolandar X-AT is enhanced with Geo-Shield Technology, where 3 sidewall piles, a high turn-up carcass, and full nylon cap improve durability and puncture resistance. Its thick Dual Sidewall Protectors in two unique designs guard against impacts and punctures. This Yokohama all-terrain tire promises a long tread life with Elliptical contact area that provides an optimal balance of off-road traction and long even wear, while HD-2 Off-Road Compound with a unique triple-polymer blend provides reliable, long tread life and impressive cut and chip resistance. With Five Pitch Block Variation, tread staggered in five-block sequence that reduces pattern and road noise for a smooth, quiet ride. Zig-zag Grooves interrupt airflow to limit pattern and road noise, also ensuring a quieter and more comfortable ride. And of course, Geolandar X-AT provides great off-road performance with its Aggressive Center Blocks that provide strength and grip, while Dynamic Shoulder Blocks create a biting edge and promote mud and stone rejection. Combination Grooves and sipes on each tread block provides traction on wet, snow, and slick surfaces.
