Worse Tires Ever Owned

I bought my wife a set of Yokahoma Avid Ascend tires for a 2015 Honda CRV. With 26,000 miles, one tire is so bald I can see the air in it. The other 3 are nearing the treadbar. She had a front end alignment before installing tires, rotated tires every 5000 miles, and kept the air pressure to designated door label. She is a slow driver, rarely over 55 mph. She is now trying to get the dealership to help her get some sort of refund. Not expecting anything. Please stay away from this tire company. Will try Michelin Defender tires next.

This is my 3rd set of Yokohoma Avid Ascend tires, but this set is on our Camry. We are very pleased with this tire and think this model handles all situations above average. We have had 2 sets on our Highlander. They have a long life and are quiet in comparison to other tires we have had. I have been in some terrible downpours recently and had to put the flashers on and lower the speed on the highway, and these tires handled it well. I recommend them.

It's an excellent tire and it's the best tire I have found for noise reduction and longevity. They are the original tires that came on my car when purchased new. I have tried a few different brands over the years but none compare to these. I drive a 2011 Toyota Prius and if you're thinking about trying another brand, you'll probably be disappointed at some point, particularly with increased noise. These tires will keep noise reduction down for the longest time period, atleast that's been my experience. However, there does come a time when the tire wears down and they increasingly become louder, therefore, that's why I gave a 4 star rating. It's important to have them rebalanced and aligned after rotation as it is with any set of tires.
