We use the rack to securely house a rack server, a pair of switches, firewall, ups, etc. It is very versatile, well thought out, well built and sturdy. Locking side panels are great. Had one issue with lets not working on front and rear lock. Tripp Lite customer service was friendly and quickly sent replacement locks that were easy to install and worked perfectly.

Overall a great quality rack
We needed a 42u rack and after researching multiple brands, we chose the SR42UB. I honestly did not expect it to be such a quality product but everything about this rack is quality. It feels very sturdy and solid which is what we needed as we have many tower servers that have to fit in here. We bought 2 of the fixed shelves and 1 sliding shelf and even those are just as good of quality as the rack itself. It doesn't feel anything like those cheapy Dell racks. The vertical TrippLite PDU fits perfect in the back taking up no room and our TrippLite KVM feels just as good as the rack and shelves. I definitely have a different outlook on TrippLite and will always consider them in the future after this purchase.
