The Yardforce YF8000 leaf shredder is the perfect solution to all those piles of leaves laying around in your yard. It can shred twelve (12) full lawn bags of leaves into one (1) bag. You can also use the shredded leaves and debris as a vitamin rich, organic mulch that acts as a great fertilizer for your garden. Choose from different settings for dry or wet leaves ? and coarse to fine shredding. No sharp metal blades, the YF8000 safely uses .095? nylon trimmer line to shred leaves and debris, and the shredding lines are easily replaced without tools. Adjustable telescopic legs keep the YF8000 stable on uneven ground and slopes. Shred directly into paper or plastic bags or onto the ground to spread as mulch. All components stack inside each other for compact and easy storage on a shelf. Includes BONUS hand rake set, 10 shredder replacement lines, bungee cord and safety goggles.

Works great and it is fun. It can handle small sticks, bigger ones tend to accumulate on top and will tear the string off. Replacing the string is not a big deal. Overall, it is dusty, noisy but FUN. The only caveat is that no bags that I found so far fit neatly under the shredder. The fit has to be tight otherwise shredded leaves will blow all over. Regular yard waste bags can be attached with a big of trickery but it is not an instant love between the two.

I can't believe how well this works! I shredded so many leaves in my yard and the barrel isn't quite full. Last week I put out 8 barrels of leaves I had raked. The leaves in the yard this week were almost the same as last week (8 barrels down to 1). Unbelievable but true. Putting it together was a breeze. The air does get a bit dusty but that's to be expected (be safe and wear a mask).I love this machine!
