Trim the wick prior to burning eliminates char scent interference with fragrance- important since this is a pure floral. Recommend large jar for long lasting use; grab this in a two wick if you have a large room...the two wick shortens burn duration but increases the waft. Large jar is perfect-not overpowering- in mid size rooms.
