Yankee Candle Whole Home Air Freshener - The Yankee Candle Brand is the #1 Consumer choice in candles that fragrance the home. This fragrance device performs longer than its popular HVAC competition, and works on most filters for HVAC systems. Macintosh is Fruity. So vividly real you can almost taste the unmistakable crunch of that first bite of apple. Testing Procedure for Performance: A lab study was done on the HVAC furnace filter devices to mimic the real-world. Samples of each device were hung on a standard HVAC furnace filter in a testing chamber in a lab, which was designed to mimic a typical home setting and was designed to subject each of the test devices to the exact same factors: air flow, temperature, humidity, etc. Each of the devices were weighed each day to an accuracy of 1/100th of a gram and the weight change between days shows the amount of fragrance each device dispersed each day.

Incredible, fresh scent!
As soon as we attached this to our new filters, the whole house smelled SO, SO APPLE-Y!! My husband loves that scent, but we have 2 registers and put one on each to start, and it was immediately too much scent for my husband...it WAS strong, but i didn't mind...I'd prefer that to Stinky Dog Smell, lol. So we took one off, leaving just one for a few minutes...he still couldn't take it. I sit right under an airvent, but the register closest to me was the plain filter...yet I could still enjoy the sent from the other side of the house. He had to take it down...i later thought perhaps I should have cut it into ¼s or something, but I will wait to try it. I bet, like many such products, that the smell would soon fade, or we would soon adjust, but I will have to wait to see.
