DSP protection functions for maximum output and component longevity: Active loudspeakers benefit from optimized matching of transducers and amplifiers. During development, Yamaha tested the durability of each transducer and amplifier output to set optimal limiter points using precise DSP control. The DSP continuously monitors the power supply, amplifiers, transducers, and signal levels to protect components and maintain peak performance while extending their lifespan.
Class-D amplification: The efficient Class-D amplification module delivers superior power. All amplifiers are selected and optimized to match the Yamaha DXS XLF’s high, mid, and low-frequency transducers.
