Xtend+Climb 770P ladder exceeded my expectations.

I needed a sturdy, compact 12' ladder for attic access. The online photos of the Xtend 770 don't do the ladder justice. The actual construction is much more impressive than the pictures. Ease of use is a key feature. It is smooth and easy to extend and contract. Just keep your fingers out of the way when you "close" the ladder. The compact size is perfect for closet storage. Since it closes to a couple of feet in length, carrying the ladder around the house is a breeze as well. I now use the Xtend for more than attic access. It is portable and easily fits in the trunk of our compact car. It is a little heavier than I expected, but that is due to the rugged construction. The width is right-sized. It looked much more narrow in the photos. The one I received is trimmed in yellow. I'm not sure if that is intentional on the manufacturer's part, but it is a convenient visibility safety feature for the user and for anyone walking or working in the vicinity. Overall, this is an exceptional ladder and exceeded my expectations.

Adjustable length ladder

Great invention, used it over a staircase on the step leaning against the sloped ceiling. The ladder has to be the right length. Will be handy for chores previously done with a clumsy extension ladder. If color is important, the color of the plastic parts are a dull dirty orange which is disappointing.
