The item is fine, but the seller is not. the advertising said it would work mint and boost, and it also listed a few other cell providers. We tried both mint and boost and got error messages that it was not compatible. Part of the problem is that both mint and boost had us list our zip code to check if they cover our area. Both said our zip code does and sent us sims. Neither actually do cover our area. When we insert sims we get error messages they are installed improperly we call customer service for the cell companies and they issue a refund telling us that their system is different than the online one and says they do not cover us. Both companies told us many 3rd parties sell phones stating unlocked or compatible with them and they are not. we thought buying this was buying from Wal-Mart and trusted it. The cell phone seller is an i dependent shop even though we found the item through Wal-Mart online. I guess walmart is more like amazon now. walmart said we had to contact this 3rd party for the return. The cell phone seller is very hard to get a hold of and when we asked about the return policy for a refund we got a genric message stating it does too work and that we need to get mint. They gave no return information, and they paid no attention to our message that mint was contacted 1st.
