Takes a little bit to put together. You will need 6x AA batteries. Comes with everything you need. It works excellent, very realistic on the trigger as it is dual action trigger for dual stage firing mechanism. You push forward with two thumbs, it will start spinning and create the air pockets, while you pushing it forward you push the trigger down at the same time, it will start rotating the barrel and start blasting the darts as the firing mechanism gets moved into action. Very realistic. It is good on accuracy, just need to learn how to aim with it and does not hurt when it hits, it isn't the powerful unless you modify it. You can carry around like Terminator, or keep it on the tripod for better handling. When you carry around on hand, shooting becomes slightly challenging, you just need to learn how to move with it. the price is right, excellent deal I couldn't skip, this is more for me age 35 but our kids get a great kick out of it as well.
